I applied for a job position on LinkedIn for a Data Entry Specialist. I received an email from [email protected] from a Jimmy Dixon saying he is the hiring manager and would like me to work for them. I had to fill out an application. Additionally, he sent me to my supervisor Leonard Sax with 2 emails being [email protected] and [email protected]. Leonard Sax said once my tools came in to start (laptop, printer, company card, etc.) I would train with a Stephen Walter at email [email protected]. About 2 weeks or a week and a half go by then Leonard Sax is promoted, so a Gavin Burgos is promoted turning into my new supervisor.. Keep in mind that I have done no work yet because nothing for me has came in and of course no payments when I was told I had to immediately start this job, so I had to quit my other job. Gavin Burgos chats with me on Skype with the handle cid.2752a76d7184c99d . They tried to send me a check in the mail to deposit yesterday and told me to go to ATM for a quick deposit.. I felt uneasy, so instead I went inside the bank to talk to them about it. They flagged the check as fraudulent and voided the check. This company promised to pay me and yet still have not. They promised to pay me $24/hr and they make it seem like they are a real company. Nothing adds up though. The checks are so fraudulent and so is the company beware!! I took it upon myself to reach out to the actual GDIT company and they have not heard of me or have my email in their database (which should be in there if I worked there), so that did it for me. These companies seem so real, but they get you. Additionally, whenever I told Mr. Burgos (or whoever it is) that the check was flagged he started to get angry with me through Skype chat. I found it strange none of them wanting to actually speak with me on the phone. They have also tried to get others on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/gditttech/ . It makes me absolutely sick that I fell for this, but my family assured me that they did a good job of hiding that they are fake. I do not want anyone else to have to go through what I did. Before that one check I took to the bank, they tried to get me to do one through mobile deposit, but thank goodness my bank rejected it. As well, they had me add an external account to my bank account, but my bank had to try to review it. I ended up canceling it because I felt uneasy about it, thank goodness I did! They have my SSN, driver's license image, and direct deposit information because I really thought they were a real company for 3 weeks. I am so sick to my stomach by these people! I just graduated college and this happened! My image is attached of an example of what I received what you will see is that I emailed him because he asked me to reach out via LinkedIn. I went back to LinkedIn to look him up for this and he is disappeared. Sketchy. Well bad for them because if I have to give out any information, I screenshotted every conversation and saved them.
