Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I am suppose to deposit the checks in my bank account, visit two nearby Walmart stores and purchase 4 ($500) Walmart Visa gift cards and (not telling anyone) open the gift cards and take photos of the front &back of the gift cards and the receipts and text/email the information to (407) 487-4380 c/o James Peterson. I get to keep $500 for my services and if I respond within 48 hours I receive an extra $200 bonus. This was mailed to me via USPS priority mail at a cost of $7,25. However, the return address is a visitor’s center in Estes Park, Colorado and the check the company is drawn on is a Farming Company out of Minnesota. It was all a fraud, a pretty good one as the checks look very authentic.
