Scammer using the name David Hullman advertises dogs for sale on Craigslist, usually only 2-3 dogs at a time. Multiple mentions of the same scan on pet adoption forums. Seems to use different variations of the name David X, (Hallman, Hall, etc.), which he changes every few months. Claims to have recently moved and is no longer able to own the pets in his current living situation. In the past they have asked homeowners for $350 and to pay for shipping. For my case they claimed the pets were free and we would only have to pay for transport. They then ask you to Zelle them for $350 for the shipping. I realized it was a scam at this point and asked them for the name of the shipping company. They claim to use GatewayShip.com, which after more than 15 seconds of investigation is clearly a very fake shipping website. They included the names Zelle:[email protected] and Hailey Clough; however, it appears they have used various names when I was researching other people who have gotten scammed by this same person.

Do not send any money to Gatewayship. They are a fraud and will scam you out of your money. They asked for a certain price to ship us a dog, and then ask for even more, and when you question this they disappear.

This is a scam and I hope nobody else loses money to these guys again.
