A company called Gateway One Lending called me via phone saying that a lawsuit was pending against me in an amount over $2000. I have never taken out a payday loan from this company. The rep went on to say that I could settle it over the phone for $400. They knew my name and the last four digits of my social security number. They never told me my address. I have sued people in the past and papers were always served to the address of the person. I have never gotten any type of paperwork from this company in the mail. I just hung up on these people because it didn't even sound legit and I have never taken out a payday loan through them.
