He asked if I wanted to have my norfolk pine trees and palm trees cut down which died in the Feb, 2021 freeze. He also stated he could stump grind out the stumps, replace with sod and replace certain plants and fill in the entire front bed with landscape rocks.
He cut down the trees, left the stumps, brought one small load of rocks and left the job unfinished. He was paid $2500.00 plus a $1000.00 deposit for the new plants and landscape rocks that never were delivered.
He will not answer his phone to explain why he left the job unfinished nor to give me a time estimate of when he will return.
All of this occurred during a time that I was sick. I am a single female - elderly. After waiting for two months for him to answer or return, I have given up hope - accepted that I have lost the deposit for plants ($1000) have found out I was overcharged for the tree removals ($2500) and have had to find a new landscaping firm to repair the mess that has been left behind by Mr. Wilkey and crew.
