The scammer sent me a check to deposit into my account. The check was for my training wages and funds used to purchase equipment for the job. The equipment consisted of computers, printers, and other office equipment. Next, I was instructed to send a check from my bank account to a certain recipient in order to purchase the equipment. I tried to Sean’s it through “Zelle” from my Bank of America mobile app. Bank of America placed a hold on the transaction stating it was for security purposes. I called the bank and the advised me that the entire process was a scam and I should not send the money. I never sent the money. Is there a way I can apprehend the scammer?
