Thank you for responding to my initial letter; I apologize for the uncertainty in the message; I didn't want to give any details if you weren't the intended recipient. My name is Gary Watson, and I'm a lawyer with Boyce Hatton LLP in London. On March 15, 2014, Mr. Craig, whom I serve, died in a car accident. When Mr. Craig arrived in the United Kingdom as an orphan from the United States, he had never married or had children. The deceased was an accomplished oil investor who did business in Europe and South America. Before he died, he appointed me as his personal attorney, and I worked with him for six years.
I've been searching for his closest surviving family or a long-distance relative since his death, but my attempts have been futile. My initial contact was sent to you as a last resort three days after I received a request from the banking institution for the proceeds estimated at £ 6.8 million.
If I do not submit a next-in-line claim within the next 21 working days, the funds will be declared abandoned under bank laws, and everything will be turned over to the government.
The deceased did not leave a will before he died. When a person dies without a will, the assets are distributed to the next of kin by the probate court. It's referred to as the Intestate Act.
Because you and my client have the same last name, I have access to the necessary and legally valid documents that would give you the legal right to recover these assets from the bank.
In the United Kingdom, the claim will be carried out legitimately, and I will defend you in any probate court procedures. It is my obligation to ensure that you receive your benefits on time and to guide you through the entire process. If you work diligently with me, you will succeed; nevertheless, keep in mind that we are following the correct legal procedure, and there is no way to expedite the process.
