A person claiming to be Gary Robert contacted me, a psychologist in private practice located in Lexington, MA, via email regarding obtaining psychological services for his supposed daughter, whom he claimed was suffering from anxiety and would be in the Greater Boston area beginning May 1, 2018. He said that he would send me a check for $1,800.00 for pre-paid psychological services of 8 hours (2 hours per week for 4 weeks) @ $225 per hour = $1,800.00. He then claimed that he had erroneousluy sent an overpayment, with $50 to go to me for all of my troubles and $3,100.00 that he claimed needed to be returned to him because it was sent in error and was actually needed for his daugther's housing. I received a fraudulent check (from LNB Banking via UPSPS Priority Mail (USPS Tracking Number 9405 5126 9935 0100 1727 40), which I did not deposit or cash.
