I was on craigslist looking for an apartment and came across an apartment that was to good to be true. The total rent was $500 for water, electricity, cable and wifi and one parking spot. On top of the apartment being fully furnished with updated appliances.

We exchanged emails for a few days. The guy said that he recently moved back to Oregon because his job with Amazon finally accepted his transfer and he was going to be with his family.

He said that he would only accept payment through Airbnb and that they would send me an email the following morning on what to do next. He proceeded to state that once everything was taken care of a Airbnb agent would meet up with me the day of move-in and I would be able to inspect the place then and if there was anything that I didn't like Airbnb would refund my money within 24 hours and no questions would be asked.
