My husband and I have been looking for a place to rent. I found this cute little house on craigslist for rent. The guy told me that I could drive by and look at the place since he and his family have moved to Terre Haute, Indiana. He says his name is Ron Steve. He called my phone and he sounds foreign and can barely understand him. I checked the number it is a number from Massachusets, not Michigan or Indiana. He said all we had to do was send him the deposit of $800 and then he'd send us the paperwork and the keys. He has no one here to let us look at the place. I looked up the address online and it doesn't say his name as the owner of the house. I tried to send the money to him, but on both sites it failed. He kept calling and texting tonight. I really don't think this man even works for the company that he says he does either. He has not gotten any money from us, but I hope that it gets resolved quickly. The address of the home is *** Lake Michigan Drive NW Grand Rapids, MI 49504. It was last sold in 2013.
