Type of a scam Online Purchase
On 9/21/17 I contacted the phone number listed on her credit card statement for these transactions. The call was answered by Patricia #110. I asked what company she represented (as this was not on the credit card statement) and she told me it was Garcinia (which is a completely different product). I was told she could only refund 50% for the September shipment because they have a 30 Day guarantee. I explained that they were taking advantage of an elderly woman who likely has dementia and that I expected a full refund for all three shipments. She eventually said they could give a 100% refund for September if the product was returned, but I don't know if my mother even has the product any longer and even if she does, a refund just for September's shipment is not acceptable. After much debate, Patricia did tell me that she issued a refund for 100% of September. I then asked to speak with a supervisor and after quite some time, George #459 came on the call. I asked him what company he worked for and he eventually said that they did customer service for Pure Tilt, Garcinia, Trim ___, and another company (it was hard to understand him). He was initially less helpful, then again after much debate, finally did offer to refund 50% of August's charges. He then hung up on me. We aren't confident that those refunds will actually be credited to her credit card, and even if they are she was still scammed out of about $275 (~$550 if the refunds aren't issued).
