Type of a scam Phishing
I've received several phone calls and voice mails from this number claiming they are trying to reach me because I was on their "website" recently. (no name of website or company name ever mentioned). They leave the 877 number listed above for you to call back, which has a recording saying you reached "Customer Service" (no company name stated). I answered a couple times and was very cautious not to ever say "yes," but the conversations went something like this before they hung up:
Caller: Is this Ashley?
Me: This is Ashley.
C: We have (something I couldn't understand) in stock ready to ship to you.
Me: Who are you with?
C: (I think he said something about Garcinia Cambosia) You signed up for our free trial of weight loss supplement.
Me: I haven't been on your website.
C: Is your address _____ (my correct address)?
Me: I haven't ordered anything
C: How would we know your address?
Click....(they hung up).
Each time, they have hung up on me after it was clear I wasn't going to confirm any of their questions with a "yes."
