The job offer was for the Data Entry Clerk position that pays $25/hr and was a work at home job. The company was planning to build offices in my area which I would be transferred to once completed.
I first was texted by Michael Haller (phone: +1 845-237-4957) and then given a link for an interview via Skype message.
The Skype account is under the name of John Rendell (Skype profile: live:.cid.7773823adb3eaf1d).
After the text only interview, I was to sign and send back a contract of employment to Zaira Weddell at [email protected].
After I sent back the contract, John Rendell gave me details about how I was to deposit a check from the company for office supplies that would be mailed to me. He also said that IT experts would visit my house every 3 months to check on my equipment until I was transferred to an office. After I asked a few more questions, he gave me the name of the "special office supply vendor" as Declan Camden (email: [email protected]). He was also unable to provide me with the business plan or a reason why there was no mention of Galenica's expansion into the US on their website.
After I researched all of this information and found no results, it was apparent that this was a scam.
I terminated my contract and ended the chat.
