Type of a scam Online Purchase
I ordered two sofa chairs on the same day (I ordered them separately; two separate orders with two different credit cards, but both at the same shipping address). It was through a link/website. I found while searching for an item on Facebook marketplace. I was buying one chair and my dad was buying the other one for us. Both orders were placed on December 16.
It said to allow 8 to 15 days for shipping. Finally in February when I realized it was still not here (even assuming some normal shipping delays), and that I never heard from the company, I checked the order tracking.
One order showed it was brought to the United States and that’s all I can see and the other one said that it had gone to Arizona. I immediately reached out to the company and they said they would check with the warehouse. Weeks later I followed up with them again, and it took a while to respond. Just this morning, I awoke to an email stating they checked the order and that everything is good. They also wrote in there that if I had any issues to contact my local post office.
At this point I’m pretty sure this is a scam. I have all of the emails and tracking number etc. I’m going to take pictures now of what the tracking number says in case they remove that for any reason please feel free to let me know how to get someone on the email thread or anything else. Thank you.
