There is a website called "Patriot Wholesale Club" that offered a smart watch for $6.95(shipping and handling). I bit on it knowing that the watch was probably cheap, but I didn't mind losing less than $10. The company charged me the initial fee, but then more charges have been following. The most recent was $137.42 posted on 4/20/23. Their terms and conditions are not clear when you buy the watch, you have to manually click on the link to find out you've signed up for a membership that is going to have repeated charges. I called the number on the posted charge, and spoke with someone named "Kim" who said they would cancel my membership and gave me a cancelation number: 345517. I wrote an email to the website that hosted the watch give away and they said it was a "Promotional Offer by other merchant" and told me to contact their support at: [email protected] -- phone 877-934-4954. I wrote to the company and asked for a refund. They told me to call them. I wrote back stating that I would not call and asked again for a full refund. They said I was out of luck because it was in their terms and conditions.
