I currently sell on Poshmark( that will be changing soon). On April 1 I sold a Dooney and Bourke handbag to a posher named drenda. Sent the bag, received a 5 star review. On April 4, I sold a Dooney and Bourke bag (set) to a POSHER named Gabby. 3 days later I receive an email from Poshmark and Gabby saying I sent the wrong bag to her. The bag I sent to drenda is similar in color, style. I only had the two bags similar in color and style. However the bag I sent to Gabby had a perfect pair with it and a few different leather workings on it. When I package goods to a customer I check in 3 spots for the correct info, which is what I did here. I did not send the wrong bag to her. Poshmark sided with Gabby stating"bag" and I lost my commission plus another 40.00 because I lowered the price to accommodate Gabby. Gabby was instructed to send the bag back to me and she did. However the bag she sent back ( the one I w[censored]ding in my hand from Gabby) was from drenda, because it had the exact same distinguishing marks on it as drendas. I Compared this to pics on both listings. So, I received back the handbag from drenda(suppose to be from Gabby) and only 1 piece, via Gabby. Gabby sent me drendas bag. So now drenda has the better bag and Gabby got her money back. All during this transaction process I knew there was something wrong.

Drenda and Gabby both live in California only a few miles apart. I looked the cities up on line to be sure. I don't like doing a physical comparison but, in this case they look like a mother and daughter.

IN NO WAY WAS I ABLE TO TALK WITH SOMEONE FROM POSHMARK ABOUT THIS TRANSACTION. A FEW DAYS LATER I DECIDED TO LIST THIS BAG ON A DIFFERENT WEBSITE AND COMPARED THE BAG AGAIN WITH THE PICTURES FROM DRENDAS LISTING. IT WAS THE EXACT SAME BAG! I PROCEEDED TO MESSAGE POSHMARK THROUGH 5 MESSAGES ON THEIR SYSTEM. THIS WAS APRIL 15. I RECEIVED BACK THE USUAL STANDARD MESSAGE THAT THEY WILL GET BACK TO ME. I have heard NOTHING! These 2 women live only miles apart in California, look like each other and scammed me out of 140.00. I tried to explain in the 5 messages to Poshmark what they had done but I have heard nothing back. These are scammers doing this on Poshmark and POSHMARK does not care. Drenda got a better bag and Gabby got 145.00 back. I, as the seller, was literally ignored during this whole process and lost140.00. The way Poshmark does business and treats their sellers is dispicable. Something needs to be done about this so they spot these activities. AND THEY NEED TO TREAT THEIR SELLERS 100 % BETTER.
