I hired Mr. Gregory Walls (claimed to be the owner of G Walls Construction) to remove existing concrete from my backyard and gangway (digging 5 feet down in the gangway and repair the leak in the basement) Mr. Walls and I went over the entire lay out of the backyard patio design as well as the gangway. Mr. Walls said he will have four to five union workers and it will take him two days to days to complete the job. Mr. Walls asked for a $6000.00 cash payment before he can start the work. In the process of removing the existing patio Mr. Walls damaged my garage door, the trimming on my garage and he broke my water hose nozzle. Mr. Walls said he would buy me another garage door, water hose nozzle and repair the trimming on my garage (He didn't replace the water hose nozzle and didn't replace the garage nor replace the trimming on the side of my garage). Mr. Walls said he would use 4000 PSI and concrete mix with fiber mesh and apply a smooth brush finish (didn't use any fiber mesh) and added water to the concrete. Mr. Walls proceeded to pour the concrete and one of his workers let the concrete dry before they can smooth it out, that's when I discovered he didn't have union workers and later I discovered G Walls Construction isn't a legitimate business. Mr. Walls promised to give me $3000.00 back from my deposit (didn't happen) and I could get someone else to complete the job. He also refuses to give me a receipt for the $6000.00 given to him in cash. I later found out he also collecting disability from the government and not paying taxes with this fraud business (G Walls Construction). His wife Donna L Walls assist and a abettor in his scams is an Operation Agent in Dallas, Texas at Love Field Airport and he use her airline pass benefits to fly from Dallas, Texas to the Chicago area to do his scam with rental equipment including trucks from U Haul Rental. If there are other that have been scam by G Walls Construction or Gregory Walls should file a report the State Attorney office at: 312 603-1880 and OIG office at 800 447-8477.
