Stating I will be reimbursed in a forthcoming check, requested me to buy an Apple Gift Card for $500. It was to speed up the hiring process for work materials and software. They were going to ask for the number on the apple card once purchased and wanted me to call from the store. This payment task was to complete "Handling these funds". You are to carry out this task using Privacy and Code of Conduct. They were sure that with my garnered experience in the business world, I would understand that Privacy and Code of Conduct should be implemented not by only the employer but the employee as well. The Apple gift card will be used for installations of my accounting software on the Mac PC i was to buy, and other supplies. The check I will be receiving via mail, it will cover the cost of all my working supplies for me to start working immediately. They need me to feel safe and can assure I'll enjoy working with them.
