Contacted website about puppy for sale. They responded by text and sent me emails about the puppy. Price was $750 and shipping was available for $90. Payed $840 on Apple Pay and my information was given to seller for delivery of puppy. Puppy was supposedly brought to airport in a crate with a bunch of supplies but the crate the puppy was in was not allowed and he would need a climate controlled crate. The seller told me the delivery company would be contacting me for a deposit of $2000 that I would get $1800 of it back when the puppy was delivered to me. I was asked to sign a transfer of ownership paper and send picture of ID so delivery service would know who I was. I was given a tracking number and was told by the seller to send pictures of the puppy when I get him. I was contacted by the “delivery company” and was asked for the deposit and I said that the deposit was not agreed on and I was not paying it. I then get an email from the delivery service that if I did not pay for kennel that I could be charged with pet abandonment, pay a fine of $50,000 and 2 years in jail. I tried to contact the seller numerous times but of course was never able to contact them again.
