I was targeted on Instagram by Funky Step who claimed to be selling 2020 Christmas Ornaments. The same item was available from other vendors but their prices were so much cheaper so I took a risk. And a risky move it was! I placed my order on 11/3 and received notification on 11/15 that my order had shipped, but the tracking number led me to an "Error 404" page. I reached out to the vendor who sent me a tracking number that led me to the USPS website where it stated that the tracking number had been created but the order had not been received from the vendor. I followed up on 12/4 and was continually told that my order was "on its way" and that with Covid "tracking may be delayed 1-2 days" but they would not answer any of my questions as to why the package had not been received by the carrier. A week later, I still received the same response and was told multiple times that "I needed to be patient". There is no phone number to call so I have no other avenues for which to reach out. The most recent time I contacted them the person who responded (not automated) replied: "We are really sorry that we're off work now. Our working time is from 10am to 7pm (GMT 9), Mon to Fri. Please do not worry." It has now been over six weeks since I've placed my order and the company refuses to refund me or provide me any updates on to the expected arrival of my ornaments. I've also reported them to my credit card and am disputing the transaction. This company is a scam and should not be trusted; they show up on a credit card statement as "Meteor Co, Ltd" which is based in Japan. After that, the trail ends.
