I represent the ********** **** Theater Arts Parent Association as their president. I am a volunteer for the school, and we raise money for the theater program throughout the year. We did a clothing fundraiser a few years ago with Nancy Lindberg ( 6and8 clothing company) in which she set up an online shop, our families bought apparel, then she gave us a portion of the profits. We decided that it has been a few years, so we wanted to offer this fundraiser to our families again. We reached out to Nancy, she set up the shop, took orders and payment, and delivered the items to us to distribute in December, 2022. Our families purchased these items believing they were supporting a fundraiser for the theater, as they did in the past. However, this time Nancy will not pay our organization our share of the profits. We have been calling, texting and emailing her since December. She kept giving us excuses that she was "busy with the holidays," "getting it together this week, " etc. Now, she is completely avoiding us. We estimate that about 100 pieces were sold, and we were told that we would make about $5 per piece. We are missing and hoping to receive the $500 that she has stolen from our children, families and this organization. Additionally, one of our parents received a damaged piece. She, and we, have been reaching out to Nancy for months about replacing this item, which the parent payed for. She is avoiding that as well. Nancy promised us one thing, took the money, then has not held up her end of the bargain. She's been avoiding us and pushing us off with lies about wen we will receive this money. I recently researched this company online, and I cannot even find anything about it. I think Nancy has created a fake company name to trick people and she is selling merchandise illegally.
