I got the email but was smart enough to read the text, it was unprofessional and not written by a literate hiring manager. So, after receiving the follow up message I looked for a return address, phone number and other obvious contact information. If it wasn't obvious this was a scam then whomever does this is truly a [censored].

I was contact by an Erin Goforth (supposed hiring manager) to get paid $700 week to put a Full Throttle Energy Drink wrap on my car. I was sent a $2000 check, deposited it in my account and the funds were "available" two days later. I was to PayPal $500 upfront to the wrap installer immediately and $800 later. I became suspicious by the various text messages and the continuous change of installers. I researched the name on the check, contacted the real company and found out it was a fake check. Unfortunately, I was taken for $500 and and lucky not to have paid out the $1300.

No other account or cash checking store. They said it would clear in a few hours. I was to take $500 out and a extra $100 to cover cost of gas. I was suppose to get the rest back to a Kenneth Robbson. If I have completed this in 48 hours or less, I qualify for a $500 gift card bonus
