I had been searching for a job online for several weeks. Received an unsolicited email from a Paul Goldberg from the email shown above, with a work-from-home employment opportunity, as a “Shipping Agent”, processing packages for shipping & receiving. I Googled the company name, and they have what appeared to be a legitimate website. I completed and executed the Application for Employment, the Employment Agreement, I-9, W-4; I also sent them, per their request, copy of the front and back sides of my Nevada Drivers License. What followed, was numerous emails from this Paul Goldberg with instructions on how to proceed, log-in credentials for their website dashboard, and detailing the pay structure (I can forward copies of all of these emails if you would like to see them). I processed a total of 8 packages from 10/10/2023 through 11/30/2023. My wages and expense reimbursements were set up to be sent to my PayPal account on the 1st and 15th of every month. My first full half-month salary was to be paid to me on 12/01/2023. I received $25.00 on 10/16/2023 and $75.00 on11/16/2023. No funds were deposited into my PayPal account on 12/01/2023; I attempted making contact with my manager on the dashboard and via telephone numerous times on December 1st to inquire about my pay. No response whatsoever.

So, having realized that I had been duped, I decided to do a deeper dive into this company on Google, and discovered that this had happened to many other individuals. This is what prompted me to initiate this ScamPulse.com Scam Tracker.

Was sending out hundreds and hundreds of job applications through linkedin and indeed. Got a response about a part time opportunity to handle shipping and handling for amazon sellers. Was told that I would be on probation for a month while handling up to 50 packages during that time. I received 4 and handled it through the standards in the employee manual on the website we used. Each week I received the probationary payment to my zelle from "Aliaksandr Zaitsau" - confirmed with my bank. Perhaps they can provide information as to the location of the sender or financial institution used? I found two Aliaksandr Zaitsaus on linkedin, both software developers, both in Belarus, on an extensive google search . I was asked to upload copies of my DL, Permanent Resident Card, W-2 and I-9, so they have everything they need to take control of whatever they want. Eventually my "Manager" using the name Maria Novak reached out saying I was approved to go full time where I would receive $3,200 a month and also be required to handle returns and need to set up an amazon seller account. They had everything set up to register with amazon including a gmail using my first and last name in it. Through Amazon help I found out that this was not typical and that I should not register with someone I have never met being trusted with access to a profile I was responsible for.
