I'm a Wisconsin resident on vacation in Corpus Christi Texas. On March 10th I recieved a email stating that my McAfee renewal had been pre-approved for renewal in the amount of $349.99. Knowing that was incorrect as I have WEBROOT I called the given number to cancel. What followed was a harrowing experince. The so called agent put me through a series of procedures on my computer to get the refund. He finally got me to a place in windows asking for my bank account (no numbers). He It somehow didn't meet his devisous intent so he asked me to get another computer. When he finally I switched computers he finally got it to a place where I could enter the refund amount. Somehow he was able to transfer funds from my larger bank account to my smaller 0ne (same bank).It was $10,000. When I checked my bank account the smaller account had $10,000 more. I told him I had $10,000 more and he went ballistic saying that he paid me $10,000. and I needed to go down to the bank to get him his money. When I finally woke up out of his trance I hung up and immediately called my bank to put a hold on my account. changed my password and added personal

identifiers when sigining in. Early this morning I recieved a call from a Tampa phone number 813-550-0782 at 4:30am claiming they were the better business bureau and I had been scammed case # 33770885. I think it may be linked to this case.
