This scammer targeted my 79 yr old mother. They sent a $2450. check with a Secret Shopper letter by Priority USPS Mail. It instructed her to cash or deposit the check and deduct her pay for the assignment. Then she must complete the survey with 24 hours to receive an additional bonus. She is required to visit 2 or more stores and purchase$2000 worth of required gift cards for TARGET, NIKE, FOOTLOCKER, BEST BUY AND EBAY. Complete the survey after purchasing.Then scratch off the back panel of each gift card and text a clear picture along with the receipts for each. She would then be given the next task once this one is received.

Of course, the bank would soon find out the check was fake and debit the account back since it was fradulent and she would have lost the $2000 spent! Oddly enough, she has received 4 separate mailings with this type of offer. They all 4 have different contact names, return addresses and banks, but its the same scam.
