I was looking for a moving company on the internet to move some items from my Aunt's house in Alabama to my home in Texas. This company popped up and Chris gave me a call. Sounded and looked real good so I ended up signing a contract and making an initial Visa card payment of $359.63.A date of Sept 18, 2020 was set to pick up items in Alabama. I met them there, took some pictures of truck and worker. They picked up the items, made an inventory and I paid the second payment by personal check of $1,691.60. In a few days a man named Taylor called to schedule delivery in Texas with the first possible day being Tuesday, Sept 22, 2020. After several calls to them, delivery was scheduled for October 6, 2020. When the Uhaul truck and two workers arrived, filled out paper work, got my money order for $724.97, backed the big truck in my drive way and started to unload, it was the wrong items. They said there was some more items in front of the items in the back. They had another delivery in Rockwall (I believe they said) and could be back in about two hours. I told them that would be fine. Before they got back, Taylor called me and said that a mistake was made and my items were not on the truck. (The truck was from Georgia where they store all the items evidentially that are picked up and waiting for delivery). When the truck and workers were leaving from pick up in Alabama it was late in the afternoon. I asked them if they lived around here close by (Pleasant Grove, AL). They said no, they had to take this truck load back to Georgia and unload it in their warehouse. They did bring my money order back by my house and said they were so sorry that this happened and to just keep calling about new delivery date. So, from October 7, 2020 through today November 17, 2020 I have been calling, calling and calling. Have left phone voice mails, many text messages and emails to Chris and Taylor. They will not answer or return calls, texts or emails. Taylor did call one time on November 6, 2020 and said he was on his way to Georgia to look through the warehouses to try and find my items and that he would call me when he did. I have had no other calls. So they have about $5,000 worth of items and $2,051.23 money that they owe me. Please HELP if anyone can.
