I was contacted by a Christopher Banning about job opportunities as customer service for $30 an hour for remote job via Facebook then Skype where the Interview proceed, once I know I was hiring. Asked me to have Apple devices , I said I have them he said no In order to do the job I have to have new devices. How so? I have to give my carry devices account so they will order them from my account. Well I told him he’s so stupid he won’t get me on that. I was fired before I got hired. Y’all be careful there a lot of scammers out there, specially this time of the year

I recently applied for a remote job position. I was contacted by Mr. James W. Martin acting as a hiring manager. At first, the contact was via text, second contact was via Skype where the interviewing process started and various employment procedures. Finally, in order for me to do my job, I had to purchase certain software to be utilized to carry out the job duties. They sent me a check via email to be deposited via the mobile deposit app; well this attempt locked my bank account. After I got this mess resolved, they mailed me a physical check that I was supposed to deposit into my bank. After the first fiasco, I examined the second check, and behold the name on the check was another different name. The company that reached out to me to hire me is named Ageas Insurance Limited. Well, I did not even think about depositing this check and told Mr. Martin that I was no longer interested in the position due to suspicious fraud.

The number texted me saying her name was Mrs. Sasha Franklin, my resume had been reviewed, and I had been selected for an interview on an Administrative/Customer service position for $55/hour. I told them I had never applied for the position, they asked if I was interested, I said no and told them I was reporting them. I called the number and after the voicemail said it was a Text Now number I left a message saying to take me off their list.

Found on Facebook jobs and then 'interviewed via Telegram. I was wary beforehand but apparently this company will pay your credit card debt AND a phone bill? Yeah Nah, don't believe it. I stopped caring after she asked me to acquire my aunt's phone bill information as I do not pay for my own phone.

I was contacted through text message by David Rivers claiming to be a hiring scout that found me on hirevets.com. He gave me the name of Helena Brown and said she was attempting to find my Skype profile to contact me for a potential employment opportunity. Once I was in contact with Helena she conducted a fairly official interview through Skype messenger. Then once I was "hired" told me that a check was being sent to me to purchase a laptop, desk and filing cabinet for the work that I would be doing for Freenet Group. When I received the check my fears were validated, it was made out from Ross Dress for Less in the amount of $2,335. She asked me to print out the check, deposit it and then send her the proof that it was deposited.

may I know what happened after this? did they also told you to just used your own money to provide for your working materials and reimburse once the check is already cleared and available?
