I originally received a letter in the mail about student loan programs regarding debt forgiveness around summer 2019. It looked like something from the government. A phone call later and within a week of reaching out, they put together "paperwork" for my loan and a loan my father co-signed. Keep in mind these loans are over 15 yrs old. They charged $800 per app, and then since mines was on an IDR I had a $39/month fee. I just wish I new sooner to do my homework. After the recent "re-certification", I had to redo it as it came back with a new monthly fee of almost triple. I went directly to my loan provider and sure enough I found out that everything this company was offering were things I could do myself for free. There was never a need to use their services, they are just preying on students who do not fully understand the options available to them. I really hope these folks get sued as I would like my money back. Note: Once the app was done, Freedom Doc Prep passed my service management to Student Processing Services. They are just as bad.
