In July 2021, I ordered 2 brown scapulars from the company listed as FreeBrownScapular.com and paid for them using a Mastercard gift card. It's about 3 weeks later and I hadn't heard anything from them so I did some investigation. The company has been dissolved according to another website. However, the FreeBrownScapular.com website is continuing to take payments with their orders and even giving out invoice numbers. The money on my gift card is gone so it looks like someone took the money and ran. When I called the County of Riverside where this supposed business has an address the county has no listing of such a company. There is no way to contact them either by phone or email. This was my mistake for trusting them to be a legitimate company without doing further investigation or at least trying to contact them beforehand so I want to prevent anyone else from making the same mistake I made.
