Friends talked about getting free government Covid tests. Then, scrolling through Instagram, I saw the offer from the Instagram page of getfreecovidtests. So, I clicked on it, looked legit…then they said since Medicare will cover the costs (duh, didn’t realize the govt sends tests out for free) they needed to know if I qualify….so I gave them my gender, my age and my Medicare #. Then, I received your scam alert this morning. I called Medicare and will be getting a new card.

The interesting note is their website is getfreecovidtests.co BUT

When one scrolls through their website to the very end and read their privacy policy(extensive)….at the very very end as a footnote….shows that the policy piece is owned by getfreecovidtests.net. Obviously, they lifted that legalese from another, legit, company named getfreecovidtests.net NOT .co

My Medicare representative, ******* ******, took all the information and has started the process for a new card.

Glad I subscribe to the ScamPulse.com Scam site.
