I responded to an email add wanting information. Today I received a check for over $2,000 and was told in a flyer to deposit it in my bank account and send a copy of the deposit slip to the above email address. The flyer also instructed me to wait 24 hours before deducting a certain amount for my 1st week wage, and that the vast majority of the money would cover the decal expenses to cover my car with a Dr. Pepper ad. by a decal specialist.

I need to know if this outfit is a scam and whether I should proceed with them or email them to count me out and destroy their check. I had called the Dr. Pepper Co. weeks ago and I was told this offer was not from their Co.The check is signed by Samson Franklin and originated with the Cheyenne-Laramie County Employees, Federal Credit Union, 4523 Driftwood Drive, Cheyenne, WY 82009-7301.

Please advise. Thank you.
