The website looks professional, but I noticed incorrect wording and grammar throughout. They have 10 of kittens listed which seemed like a lot and every kitten is exactly the same age, 11 weeks old which seemed odd. There is no mention of sires or dams, however. They have a lot of pics of each kitten and all had lengthy descriptions. The stand out was the price, which is $400. This is well below the usual price for a Scottish Fold. To inquire about a kitten you fill in a simple form and choose the kitten you are inquiring about. Although it was obviously shady, I was curious to see how they would respond so for the heck of it I inquired about a specific kitten. Early the next morning I received a text message telling me they had sent me an email with more information. This is the email, notice that it came from "Andy Scottish Fold Kittens" using the "Fred Scottish Fold Kittens" gmail address:

So, I did a search of the phone number and address they provided and found them to be associated with other websites, all selling pets, both kittens and puppies at very low prices and all being reported as scams, according to the ScamPulse.com and at least one other website that reports internet scam complaints. In one complaint, the person tried to purchase a kitten named Hiro, which is interesting because there is a kitten on their website currently with the same name that is listed as available for purchase.
People reported that they were scammed out of money for Havanese puppies, Mini Dachshund puppies and Scottish Fold kittens.
Fred Scottish Fold Kittens address was associated with "Joy Scottish Fold Kittens" which listed a different phone number and was reported as a scam. The website appears to have been removed.
Across the board their m.o. seems to be, they only accept payment through various money transfer apps or wire transfer then request additional payments for upgraded travel crates or delivery services etc. Based on the complaints, the pets are in fact never received by the purchaser.
So, buyer beware, as always, if it seems to good to be true, it is. Always check the ScamPulse.com and other websites to see if something is a scam before sending any payments or deposits.
I would like to note that I did not lose any money and did not respond to the email or text message I received this morning. However I do believe that if I had proceeded with communication they most certainly would have requested that I send them money asap to facilitate a quick delivery of the kitten. If they communicate with me again, I will only say that I am no longer interested.

In the first email, the scammer will ask all the right questions, putting you through the motions to prove your suitability: how would we care for our kitten, how would we train him, how often would he be alone?
Then the fraudsters emails will get shorter and normally keep to sms messages. This is because the first email is a template where as you are now dealing with the actual scammer.
The “Scam Breeder” will ignore any questions about their affiliation with any clubs or organisations, and questions about the kitten’s parents. The main focus now is convincing you to pay as soon as possible. The kitten will be shipped to you by the scammers perferred delivery company. There is no other option. If you insist on picking up your new kitten they will eventually agree. It makes no difference to them if you travel for 4 hours because they are not at the address they claim to be.
Danscottishfoldkittens.com will claim to deliver the kitten using a Fraudulent Delivery company which is actually another scam website they set up in order to steal your money by charging for non existent delivery, a air conditioned travel crate, medical insurance for your kitten as well as multiple other fees.
