Initial contact came through the ScamPulse.com email system. I offer bookkeeping services and he said he was looking for someone to manage Accounts Receivable in the US. We emailed back and forth a couple of times, then he sent a Letter of Agreement. The whole thing seemed a little off but I also didn't want to turn down legitimate business. I opened the letter which was quite simplistic and really felt off. Then my computer stopped functioning. I could not get it to respond nor could I shut it down. I was sure I was hacked. However, 24 hours later and with assistance from my virus protection software support team, the computer seems fine. (I still am changing all my passwords!) Meanwhile, I received a call from the number I had for 'Arron' who left me a message telling me he had sent the contract for my signature. I have not responded. The wording he used in the emails was identical to those reported earlier in this scam alert.

He used 2 different emails - the one listed earlier in this account and [email protected]. I tried to upload the Letter of Agreement but it appears to be corrupted.
