On 7/26/2022 at 10:52 pm I received a text message from someone claiming to be from the Fraud Dept of M&T bank. They stated that someone was attempting to add themselves to my credit card. They instructed me to immediately dial the above number to resolve it. I looked on the back of my credit card and the number nor the area code was anywhere close to the number on my card. This morning I called customer service and they informed me that it was a fishing scam. My account is intact. Please let others know to be careful.
