This is the second time this company called claiming that they had a legal obligation to inform me that I would need to show up in court and was in collections for a Discover account. They had the last 4 of my social and an address for me. They said it was for a Discover card from 2010. I have a Discover card but it was not opened in 2010 and I have never been delinquent. Nothing shows up on my credit history. When asked about this the company said it wouldn't until I am taken to court. If I were far enough behind that collections had my account how would it not show up anywhere on my credit? They reported that they had a signed letter with my signature. They do not because I have received no such letter. I believe they were trying to get me to divulge one of my credit accounts, which I would not do.
