I was contacted Jan 21st at 12:28 pm about Bally Fitness debt that supposedly I owed in 2007. I was given no written copy of the information, they threaten to take me to court and refuse to give me their address so I can send a certified mail piece from my attorney asking for them to send a written report amount on how much they think I own, that I actually do owe this money, how they calculated the fees, that it wasn't expired and that they have a license to practice in CA. The agent that I talked to said that they would be filing a legal claim against me. I sent a letter by email asking for them to provide the needed information, but I also wanted to file a formal complaint given that I'm sure they are calling other people and threaten them about debt that is expired, no longer owed and without any documentation. The agent told me the firm was called Foundation Resolutions, which has an address based online in Georgia, but they called me from a Sacramento area code number. The agent also used COVID as an excuse on why I haven't received any notification and why she couldn't give me the mailing address
