I got an offer to do a survey that would pay me $400 if I were to purchase a specific amount of money for gift cards and rank in customer service. After depositing a check over two grand, it was a fake and was notified by my bank with push alerts. I called them immediately and they said there was nothing they could do about it since it was a VALID purchase and how they said to go to the stores I purchased at and then I called Kroger and Walmart where they said we can't give refunds for gift cards even if I was scammed. I received this notification from Forum Research that was a legit company, but the guy Fernando Esteban was the one who was contacting me saying I need to get it done when possible and then offer a weekend to a focus group survey to share my experience with customer service and how they can treat me. Please be aware when looking through college email as well! Lost over $1200 over stupid gift cards that now I don't know if I can get my money back!
