I received a text from Jill Tucker stating they found my resume on indeed. She asked me to reach Natasha Hairston on Microsoft teams for interview and she’ll explain it all to me. I was asked several questions which seemed normal for an interview process and name and address. Then was told to wait for my score on interview and she came back saying I did great and offered a job. She then said to fill out docs for hiring process and I would need to buy equipment and in order to build a good relationship between employee and employer I’d have to provide receipts to obtain a check for payment to cover the equipment purchased. I wanted to confirmed the company but something kept telling me to keep searching and I came across something similar exactly the same situation as I went though

I was contacted via SMS for an interview with the same interviewer name, Natasha Hairston, the proceedings did mostly the same and i was about to send my adress information when they asked me for it when i had the idea to check for scams, they said they were going to send me a check to buy hardware and software, but then i decided to block the conversation. The interview was in-depth and had good informations, If I hadn't checked I would have fallen for a dummy check situation!

I received a text from Jill Tucker, from Forge Biologics, stating she saw my resume on Indeed and reviewed it and thought I would be a good fit for their work from home position. Then asked if I was available to chat with a recruiter, Natasha Hairston, on Microsoft Teams. When I reached out, this Natasha sent messages to me with info about the position. She had a legit profile, picture, and credentials. I was even sent a code to use for the chat. The recruiter, Natasha, interviewed me and asked normal questions and then explained the benefits of the position. She then said the interview was finished and I would be notified the next morning if I got the job. I was contacted the next morning by Natasha via Microsoft Teams. She offered me the job based on my interview score of 87%. I qualified for the position and she would try to contact my references. She then explained the hiring process and then stated that I needed to get some equipment to do the job. She said that they have a provider that they use to supply all the necessary equipment. I would need a laptop, software, printer and scanner. She proceeded to tell me that I needed to send a partial payment of $470 to the provider using PayPal. The PayPal account was linked to Cassandra Anderson with an email [email protected]. I was told to screenshot the payment confirmation and send it to her for documentation. I was told I’d be reimbursed for the money sent. When I asked her why this information wasn’t presented during the interview, she responded with, “this arose because you lack an authorized bank account, and we require you to start training promptly.” I have just recently moved and I haven’t set up a bank account. Thank god! I searched her name online and found out this exact thing happened to another person. With more research, I found that scam companies like this send you fake checks that will bounce after you are out of your money. I screenshot all the information I found and sent it to this lady “hiring” me. She didn’t respond and then she blocked me. Now I’m involved with the fraud companies to protect my name.
