letter in mail said 2023 FORD EDGE Immediate response requested for vehicle service contract to be activated. asked for my odometer reading, which i gave him as i didn't know this was a scam until the end of the call. he was very nice and patient as he asked me for imformation. i told him i already had a protection plan with the dealership. he told me to cancel it. said his company was Ford and that they didn't charge any taxes and we need to pay an upfront fee of $395 and 12 months of $365 and this would cover 4 years of service. Thats when i started to become suspicious as we have a three year lease with our car which we purchased in july. they also asked me for the vin number which i gave to him before i knew this was a scam.
