I also received a text message stating I had won a reward along with a few others, clicked the link and paid the $1.95 requested only to look at my account less than 15mins later to notice they also tried to take $89.95, I am now having to cancel this card as well as report my information just in case someone tries to use it for fraud.

On 6/26/22, I received an email stating, "This is your chance to receive a reward" I was a little hesitant about clicking on the link until I saw this email address ([email protected]). A few days ago, I watched a video presented by History.com so I assumed this was the same company. However, the email offered a chance to win a drill with a fee of $1.99 after giving my card info. I immediately checked my account and noticed the $1.99 was there. Within the next hour, I checked my account again that's when I discovered that this same company attempted to charge me $89.00. Fortunately, after speaking with my financial company, they informed me that they declined the charge based on suspicion of fraudulent activity. Thank God the company was on to these crooks.
