I was in contact with a potential dog breeder who was supposed to air carrier service a puppy (Winnie) over to me. I originally payed for her and her shipping for a total of $990. $790 for the dog and $200 for the flight. This morning April 13th, 2023 at 9:36am I was updated about the flights tracking number. Then at 10:23am I was texted by the airline service that the dog would be taking off in 7 minutes. At 1:50pm I received an email from [email protected] that I needed to pay $1600 as insurance since the dog was stopped in Illinois and would be given to a shelter and I would be sued for pet abandonment. I have pictures of all exchanged contact.
