This person contacted me via text message claiming to be my supervisor for a new job as an Online Procurement Representative with FLUOR Procurement. He encouraged me to keep him updated about the progress of a fake check that had been sent to me. He encouraged me to deposit the check via a mobile banking app instead of depositing in person at a branch. He used the name Bill McCain and claimed to be in contact with a man using the name George Morlidge. I was sent emails to both my school email address and the secondary email address I provided when I agreed to start the "job." I lied and told him the check went through and the money was available for use in my account. I was instructed to bring my debit card to WalMart and wire $1588 to the supplier for my job supplies. This supplier goes by Roy Chaga, Fort Worth, Texas 76120. They claim to be using Walmart2Walmart transferring. When I asked for some merchant identification I was questioned. I was told to withdraw the amount in cash and bring it to Walmart to send it if I did not want to use my debit card.
