The scam company contacted me for a interview to work a remote position (Marketing manager) once I got hired, I was asked to send personal information, sign a contract and scan my ID. After doing this, they said I had to purchase equipment using my name with a check they were going to send on the mail. Once I received the check, I straight went to the bank where after some time verifying the check, I was informed that the check I was about to deposit was fraudulent.
