I went to a website called flowersbynora.com after doing a Google search looking for local florists in the King George, Virginia area. The website was very impressive and very well done, and contained large amounts of information continually referencing their service to the King George, Virginia area: I.e. - starting up as a small business, and becoming very successful in the area, etc. My wife called the number, and the person who answered stated that they were a florist in the King George, Virginia area. My wife worked with the person on the other end of the line and ordered a flower arrangement to be delivered to my daughter on her birthday, April 8, 2025. Within minutes of placing the order on 7 April 2025, our capital one account notified us that a charge/pending authorization for $99.23 from flowers by Nora had been charged. My daughter, the intended recipient of the flowers, is a school teacher and works in an elementary school in King George, Virginia. The delivery time and date was supposed to be 10:30 AM on April 8, 2025, which again is my daughters birthday. We waited to hear from our daughter about the receipt of the flowers, but the call never came. When we checked on it with the school, we found out no flowers had been delivered. My wife called back to flowers by Nora at their phone number, and they adroitly and succinctly indicated that the order had been canceled due to “supply chain problems.” We received no phone call from flowers by Nora indicating the order had been canceled, and there was no cancellation posted to our capital one credit card account. My wife then called capital one to find out what happened from their perspective, and they said that the pending authorization had simply dropped off about three hours after it was charged on 7 April 2025. We did not lose any money in this transaction; however, capital one will be keeping a close eye on our account for questionable/fraudulent charges since we did provide our credit card information to flowers by Nora. My wife and I are very upset that the flowers were not delivered; but more than that, we are upset that we were not notified yesterday by flowers by Nora that they could not or would not make the delivery. Had they done so, we could’ve made other arrangements to make sure that our daughter received flowers on her birthday. I feel that there were significant deceptive business practices involved in this website, and that flowers by Nora furthered the deception by reinforcing the “we are a local florist“ lie, and by making promises which they weren’t sure they could keep when the order was placed. The worst part of it, however, was their failure to notify us when they determined they could not keep their commitment to deliver the desired flowers to the intended recipient at the intended time and place.

I google searched florists near XXXX, Florida to send flowers to my mom this morning. Flowers By Nora populated as a Sponsored account right on top of the page. I navigated to their website (www.flowersbynora.com) to place my order. There was a notice that Christmas flowers were 45% off for same day delivery, so I opted for a Christmas Bouquet. A red flag to me was the checkout price of $77.83 but the notation was free delivery so I still processed the order. I received an email confirmation reviewing details such as the order, Order # and date, the card message and Subtotal/Service Fee/Delivery Fee/Tax Total/Order Total with my moms information on the bottom of the email with an email and phone number to contact. I noticed no local address to my moms house and the 844 phone #, after googling the number, the first Google result was the report for the same # through the BBB. I contacted my bank and had them cancel my account and started a card dispute claim. I then received another email that came from 'Valery Smith' ([email protected]) that stated due to supply issues, they were unable to fill my order and have issues a refund for the order and can take 5-7 business days for my bank to process the refund on their end. The email was signed Best Regards, Benjo, Flowers by Nora. My bank refunded the amount due already (lets go ********** ****!) and a new card is on the way.

I did a Google search for a locally owned florist in Carthage, NC. Flowers by Nora came up in the search. Their website looked legitimate, but I failed to notice that they did not actually list their address anywhere on their website. I called the phone number listed 844-236-9077. A person who could barely speak English answered and took my order for flowers to be sent to a funeral the next day. They sent a receipt for the order the next day for $238.34. No mention that they failed to deliver. 2 days later an email was sent that they DID NOT send the flowers because the arrangement wasn't available. This is another lie because they told me on Friday the flowers were available. I immediately looked up this business on Better Business Bureau Scam Tracker and there are numerous reports of the same scam where people ordered flowers and were told a few days later that no flowers were available. Something needs to be done about this.

Flowers By Nora on Long Island is a cam. Ordered funeral flowers, no delivery. Accidentally called Flowers by Nora in TX to check in, who said she gets calls about the NY store frequently. It is a scam & using customer credit cards.

I ordered a beautiful white sympathy flower arrangement, called Peaceful White Garden, from Flowers by Nora, which calls itself a family-owned business. I even upgraded to Premium and was assured the arrangement would look even fuller than the one on the website. However, the arrangement actually delivered to the bereaved family was a few bright yellow roses and some sparse greenery. It looked nothing like the photo on the website. When I contacted Flowers by Nora, they took no responsibility, claimed they could substitute flowers whenever they wanted to, and offered me a mere $20 refund out of the $104 I paid. They are clearly not family-owned, not local, and do not care about the quality of the arrangements they provide. DO NOT USE FLOWERS BY NORA.COM!

Found the site online. Found the item to buy. Called phone number. Gave delivery location. Gave credit card info. The site said delivery would happen that day. Didn’t. Phoned and got the runaround. Wouldn’t cancel order. Used fraud feature on my credit card site to report fraud.
