I just received an official looking letter from Florida State Filing. I recently set up an LLC, and this "Certificate of Status Request Form" arrived in the mail, asking to collect a fee of $68.42 to complete the process. It spears to be a complete scam.

Their address is PO Box 61131, Ft Myers, Florida 33906-9914.

Received a letter from Florida State Filing - 2016 Certificate of Status Request Form - requesting $68.42 for a Florida Certificate of Status. Only in very small letters at the bottom does the letter indicate - "Florida State Filing is a non-government agency and is not affiliated with the State of Florida. You can get the CoS for $5 online.
