I found there post on Zillow I thought it was affordable so I sent a 68$ application fee in for housing. I was surprised because I was approved without my co leaders income. Today I did some more research and found that they weren’t giving me a w-9 even though I gave them the application fee. This is because when I searched there address it belongs to the United States postal service.

8/9/21-8/10/21 $1800 We want to add to apply for a place my father and I, in doing so they sent to us a contract request in 24 hours to submit rest of the payment. I called, them text them and email them to notify us if any other tenants applied. They asked us over the phone to go ahead and submit the payment. Then immediately ask for return mailing address saying we did now get the place. For a week we have been providing them with personal information they are requesting banking account information, routing number name of the bank... and a address they all ready have on file. They keep asking for personal information every day and we have complied over and over again answering the same questions over 10 times. They have since then blocked us and are still refusing to return our money which we were told several times they would mail out within 24 hours that they did not have enough information. At this point they have had more than enough information have terrible reviews online with better Business bureau and are constantly scamming people out of money being rude hanging up on them blocking them and taking money. We have until the end of the month to move and at this point we are terrified that they have taken advantage of us and took all of our moving money. My dad's over 60 years old. I have requested not to text him while he's working and to contact me as well as he has made the same request. Yet they are pounding him for personal information as well. I just don't get why we were told several times that the refund would be processed within 24 hours yet it's been over a week and they still refuse to process our refund. Even today they emailed me asking if I would sign a blank check and send it to them. I specifically told them I am done giving personal information and to mail it out. They responded that we are no longer a priority for them. The fact that they are requesting personal banking information and not sending my refund just confirmed it's a scam.
