These people have a great website that supposedly sells golden retriever puppies at $550 or $600 each. When you contact them about the puppies they email asking you a list of questions that any good breeder might ask. They start out by telling you they are not a store or a puppy mill but a private breeder. The first sign of their shannanigans was that no where on their site did it say anything about where they were located. in a subsequent email, they replied with subtle language issues in the email, such as "thanks you" and "Just by your words I judge you are the perfect home for my puppy" and "I take comfort know you are right home and make me comfortable sending my puppy to you."

I could tell by the redundant language; the too good to be true pricing; the uncommon ordered phrases and odd words, like using take comfort and make me comfortable in the same phrase - most Americans wouldn't say something redundant like this. Or just by your words I judge you...that is a strange phrase, most Americans would say I can tell by what you say that ...

Then they responded saying they need me to give them details of where I live so they can set up the flight to send the puppy to me.

I knew they were a scam at that point. Beware - these people will try to take your money, but they are not getting mine.

If a typical golden retriever wait list at a reputable breeder is many weeks, who thinks they can just go online and buy one for 1/3 the price just like that.? too good to be true always is.
