It starts with a phone call. Usually asking for John. This spoofs my number. My number is the gateway into our modem. I recently was made aware that my phone number was cloned and that is being investigated by authorities. Once they have that gateway, they hijack the modem and the signal for deliquent purposes. Changing the wifi password doesn't help because they seem to be using upnp technology three layer forwarding. Pictured is a glympse from my phone. It should show my location. Instead, it is at the hijacker's location. Assumption made- they have a cloned phone.
