A woman who's daughter is a student of mine approached me to help her talk to a customer service person because she was trying to book flights to Thailand and doesn't speak English very well. I am making this report on her behalf. She had given the "company" her name, husband's name, and daughter's name, along with their address, credit card number, and email address. They had her sign a document using PandaDoc to confirm her information. They then emailed her with a heading of a different company (also starting with the word "flight" but I don't remember what it was) and I realized it was a scam when she showed me the emails, which contained broken English. By that point, they had charged her $644 without her authorization and without sending her any plane tickets. The amount the company wanted her to pay was approximately $3,800.
