We continued to follow up and we used to get the assurance about confirmed tickets and wait for only next 24 hours.
On Thursday 18th Nov Fares Match representative James congratulated us and informed that ticketing has been done by billing team and he was going to share the E ticket confirmation numbers in next 24 hours. We did not receive anything in next 24 hours and we contacted the Fares Match team again, where a very rude representative named Simone told us tickets cannot be booked and asked us to change the travel date ( provided an alternate Itinerary of ~40 hours journey and not for the same day ) or take the refund back.
The team gave told us about not being able to provide the tickets only after all tickets were sold out for that itinerary. We were left with no option but requesting the refund. So we requested for a smooth refund process and were told that refund is initiated and will be credited in next 5 days. It has been almost 15 days we are following up for the refund but Fares Match team is not processing the same and they communicate to us that it will now take 2-3 billing cycles ( 1 billing cycle is equivalent to one month ). We requested them for the refund transaction id so we can check with our bank for the status , but they deny mentioning those details.
We feel that the Fares Match company is a fraud as they keep on lying with multiple reasons. They are unable to provide the service for which they have initiated this firm , also they are not being authentic/transparent about any process /hierarchy within their organization to whom issues can be escalated. It will be of great help if we get your help on this issue soon
